Double Ball Valve with External Release System (DBV/ERC - DV)

A system that provides protection of the installation, the operating staff, and the environment by isolating the product flow and providing rapid release under extreme or emergency situations. Equally suited to rigid marine arms or flexible hoses, the system is hydraulically activated, with specially developed interlocking facilities resulting in the ultimate in protection. Available for ambient, liquefied low temperature or cryogenic gases LNG, in diameters from 2 to 20. High or low pressure designs are available as are customised solutions for specific installations.

Quick Connect / Disconnect Coupler (QC/DC)

The quick and easy method to connect and disconnect a rigid marine arm or jetty hose to and from the vessel manifold. Available for ambient, low temperature and cryogenic service conditions. QCDC is hydraulically operated and can be adaptable to various sizes of manifold flange. Customised designs available on request from 2 to 24 diameter.

Quick Connect / Disconnect Coupler with Integral Ball Valve (QV)

A unique MIB product offering all of the operational advantages of a hydraulic QCDC but with the added safety feature of an integrated ball valve. The valve is interlocked with the QCDC to ensure full isolation of the marine arm or flexible hose prior to release of the QCDC mechanism. Suitable for ambient, low and cryogenic temperatures, in diameter of 2 to 24.

Rotaram Quick Connect / Disconnect Coupler (RR)

A standardised design of hydraulic QCDC offering speed and ease of mating and separating a rigid marine arm or flexible hose to a vessel. Suitable for ambient and low temperature service in diameter from 6 to 16. Adaptable to connect to its nominal diameter plus up to two diameters smaller.

Manual Quick Connect / Disconnect Couplers (RC)

A simple but effective method of achieving quick connection and disconnection to and from flanges, albeit a tanker manifold, hose installation, SPM, or other ambient or low temperature service requirement. A series of cam locking units on the periphery of the coupler flange are clamped or unclamped by a hand held wrench. Suitable for all ambient petrochemicals, low temperature and cryogenic liquefied gases, in diameter of 3 to 20.

Double Butterfly Valve with External Release System (DDV/ERC DE)

Double Butterfly Valve with Internal Release Systems (DDV/MP DD)

An economical ERS solution incorporating butterfly valves and the unique MIB Internal Release Coupler (MP Type). The Coupler represents the latest safety system design available to the marine terminal industry. Suitable for installation on rigid loading arms or flexible hoses, the system is suitable for crude oil, ballast, fuel oils, non toxic petrochemicals and VOC service in diameter of 6 to 24. Fully in accordance with OCIMF Recommendations 1999

Multibore Releasable FPSO Turret Systems (MB)

Multibore Turret Connector Systems: a custom-designed multiple function QCDC for disconnectable FPSO turret installations requiring release of the risers due from typhoon, hurricane, ice-berg or other such conditions. Also a vital component of any dynamically positioned production or test vessel. Housing a series of high pressure lines and associated subsea umbilical bundles, the integrated connector solution includes several special features, including:

All fluid or gas lines complete with dual isolation valves.
Each set of valves are interlocked with the clamping mechanism to ensure ultimate safety levels.
A total separation time, including valve closure, of less than 30 seconds is achievable.
All components are manufactured in-house by MIB, guaranteeing the quality demanded by the indudstry for such a vital component.
Engineered to interface with clients specific riser buoy and upper turret equipment.
Clamping load to suit project needs, catering for internal fluid pressures, external riser buoy loadings and the possibility to also accommodate mooring loads.

Flexible Riser Connector/Release Solutions (OS)

A diverse range of connectors and safety release systems area available from MIB for high or low pressure flexible risers, jumpers, or catenary lines used on all types of offshore installation including FPSO, FSO, Semi-submersibles, Tender assistance vessels, TLP or other solutions where there is a need to make up an initial connection but also to provide a safe and rapid method to release such lines from a vessel under adverse or emergency situations.

Hose Breakaways (BH)

Hose Breakaway provides automatic protection of floating and submerged hoses when subject to excess axial (tensional) loads on MBM, SPM, FSO & FPSO installations. With built-in valving that provides 100% leak-tight sealing when closed under all design conditions, this MIB product is the only one of its type to offer operating companies the highest level of protection of their installation, investment and the environment.

Export Hose Protection Systems (HPS)

Hose protection system: hydraulically operated QCDC together with upper and lower isolation valves to fit at the interface between the hard deck piping and a floating export hose from an FPSO or FSO. The system can be provided as a complete engineered package from MIB inclusive of hydraulic power and controls, links into the vessel hawser mooring system, remote activation package and so on. Suitable for ambient and low temperature fluid transfer.
